Enrique Gil

Enrique Gil

Enrique was born on March 30, 1992 in Cebu City. He is the second son of Enrique Amadeo Gil III and Barbara Anne Bacay. His father is Spanish while his mother is of Filipino, German, and Spanish descent. He has an elder brother named Enrique Javier (Javy) and a younger sister named Diandra Frances (Andie). 

Career

Enrique started acting in the summer of 2008. He was 16 years old then, and boredom led him to enroll in commercial modeling and musical theater workshops conducted by Trumpets. In 2009, During the taping of Pieta, his mom convinced him to audition in the sitcom George and Cecil. As soon as head writer and director Joey Reyes saw Enrique, he immediately cast him to be on the show.  Later he was also cast in the indie film Pitas as a brother of the lead actress, Kristel Moreno.
